| Van was talking about how he wants to have 8-9 players as his "core" group. In your opinion, who should those players be? |

Here are my choices:
Lisa
Tina
Tamika
Sue
Diana
Swin
Sheryl (if she can play)
Katie (if she can play)
Yo
I know that Dawn will be in the core group, but these are just my preferences. I think the second group did a lot better than the starters. Yo did really well. My favorite part was the Diana-to-Sue-to-Swin play... UCONN Connection! That was awesome, and I just loved their reactions :D
I was really happy that Diana seemed to be better. She did not show any signs of pain. I hope she won't get hurt again. We need her for a run in September. |

Taurasi
Bird
Cash

I guess it would all depend on how the other teams play against the US. Van has said that some of the starters may get less minutes if opponents use the zone, therefore putting the perimeter shooters in the game.
I thought Shannon did not do so well. Dee failed to make a shot, but she got rebounds, assists, steals, and was just way faster than her. Staley will start most likely. I also liked the second group as I stated earlier. It was really bad how the starters accounted for 75% of the turnovers. I would have also liked to have seen Diana play with Leslie. |

Cash and Catchings together would out hustle anyone. |
