This couldn't possibly be more off topic!
Has anyone here ever purchased plane tickets through Priceline? If so, was it an enjoyable experience?
I'm thinking about buying through them for my trip to Phoenix in Sept, but I'm scared they're going to put me arriving at 10pm and leaving there at 3am!
Any hints, ideas, suggestions? I'm open for anything! |

Does Southwest fly out of there? Go directly to their website.
You could try Orbitz. It could be my rental car experience talking, yet I discourage hotwire, priceline, etc; and promote going directly with the airline, hotel, or auto rental company site that you wish to deal with. |

Better yet, skip the plane tickets and use the money for gasoline.
Drive your car out for the permanent move. |

You're a sneaky devil! One step at a time...remember, this Sept trip is Phoenix's opportunity to make its sales pitch!
Right, like anything could go so wrong I wouldn't move! Absurd!
Well I ended up purchasing my tickets through Priceline. And I got a decent price (slightly better than on the major websites), with decent times.
So Mo's and my itenerary is as follows:
Friday, Sept 3--Arrive in Phoenix at 10:12am via United flight 1447 from Denver
Monday, Sept 6--Depart Phoenix at 6:00am via United flight 1474 to Chicago
We already have a room booked (but not paid for) and we're hoping someone from out of town will share with us to cut costs.
Now I just gotta hook up with our other friend (not from the board here), Nikki, to see if she can pick us up at the airport at 10am! If not, we'll be stuck waiting on her to get in from San Diego on her own flight! |

So Emibaby, Keegan, and Dunkin Dan will all be here at the first part of September?
Plus, ReadyAIMFire and Mothrarising (two Duke season ticket holders, RAF posts on the ESPN boards, both post on the Duke board) will be out here for the Mystics-Mercury game...Keegs will still be here.
The Brigade is in full-on, Martha Stewart hosting gear...without the prison stripes (they make MB look stumpy). |
