*stepping up to the mic*

Alright, I'm Emily, and for those of you who don't already know, I'm moving to Phoenix.

This move could happen anywhere between now and the end of January (2005).

The thing I need help with is planning and city information. I need to know where the good parts are, where the most expensive parking is, where the "bad area" is, who's hiring, etc. Any little, tiny bit of information is appreciated.

A little about me: I'm a 26 year old white lesbian who adores the game of basketball. I'm fun-loving, funny, witty, and smart. I have over 10 years of progressive administrative experience as an Executive Administrative Assistant. I'm single and have no children or animals. I don't smoke, rarely drink, don't do drugs of any kind, but I curse like a sailor. I have maroon hair by choice and pastey white skin by genetics. I have all but 2 of my teeth, acrylic nails, and gorgeous green eyes (if I do say so myself). I have a nice Dell computer and a Chevy Malibu to drive. I also have my own clothes. I have two tattoos and 3 peircings in my ears.

Alright. That should be enough information. The only thing keeping me from quitting my job and heading to Phoenix tomorrow is money. I have the drive, the desire, and the will...just not the cash!

So again, any help, advice, or comments are appreciated!

Why do I feel like this is a personals ad? *walking away confused*

Girl, pack your bags, throw 'em in the Malibu, and drive.

12ftofblondness, carol, caune, cam, myself and others will look out for you until you get settled.

You will need to start drinking and be willing to work at menial jobs for a spell.

Very generally speaking, north and east are good; south and west are bad. There are good and bad pockets throughout the valley.

*taking a seat nonchalantly by MB and leaning over to whisper* One needs gas/food money for that sort of drive, dearheart. And believe me, if I could, I'd be at someone's doorstep ASAP!!! *sitting up straight and waiting for other responses*

We already told you a gazillion(that's a lot)times to come on...everyone that you have met so far is here to help. I would almost be willing to sell my services(house cleaning, cooking...you peverts) to help you get the money to make the trip. You might get more $ if I sell Blondie's services though!

I hate to point this out, but you're a blondie too!

I hate money.

Let me correct myself. I hate not having money.

Remind me again why money doesn't grow on trees....

I know I have a great support group to come to. I just gotta figure out how to get there!

There's a country song that goes, "how do I get there from here..how do I make you see...how do I tell you what my heart's been telling me"...I can't get that outta my head now.
