Hey...I happened to run across this website today. It is a list of requests from soldiers serving in Afghanistan and Iraq. No matter how I feel about our actions abroad, the soldiers there have to deal with so much sh*t :evil: :evil: :evil: , and sending a little something might give them a moment of happiness.
Maybe some of you kind hearted posters might be inclined to send a couple books or some packages of Kool-Aid to them.

| How about a URL line for that website? I detest the bush for sending our men & women to a senseless war. :cry: Viet Nam all over again. I said that the moment I heard he invaded Iraq & my opinion hasn't changed for the better. Of course that isn't the only reason I want the bush out of office but if I'm not careful I'll go off on a humongous tangent :evil: :twisted: :evil: :twisted: :!: |

Oops. I guess I should have said www.booksforsoldiers.com. Does that help? The hardest part is picking out someone. There are so many requests from all branches of the military. I do recommend checking out the "getting started" section first. There are some guidelines on what is OK to send. Did you know that some of the soldiers don't have enough to eat? :? :evil: :(

[b][i] I Am an Army wife and fortunate that my husband isn't serving overseas, however, several of his friends are. I appreciate you sending on this information-I have been truly inspired to participate.
Think about your loyalties to this country and continue to support our servicemen. Thank you for sharing this information.
