SOL Players Involved in Auto Accident
MIAMI, June 12 -- Four Miami SOL players were involved in an automobile accident while passengers in a cab that was struck by another vehicle. The accident occurred in Miami Beach on Wednesday morning.
Guard Sandy Brondello, center Ruth Riley and forwards Lindsey Yamasaki and Vanessa Nygaard were taken to Mount Sinai hospital and released later in the morning.
Follow-up evaluations by the SOL medical staff at HealthSouth Doctors Hospital did not indicate any severe injuries and the players are listed as day-to-day. |
