Lynx do more dealing to keep Moore

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- The Minnesota Lynx were forced to up the ante Wednesday in their trade of guard Betty Lennox for Miami Sol guard Tamara Moore.
A Lynx spokesman said Lennox, the WNBA rookie of the year in 2000, failed a physical due to problems with her left hip, which she injured last season.
Since passing the physical was a condition of the trade, Minnesota responded by agreeing to give Miami its first-round spot in the 2003 WNBA draft. The Sol will give the Lynx their second-round spot. |
