Congrats girls on the game tonight. There was better defense. Kudos !! 8) Lisa keeping Katie Smith way below her point average. Offense shooting at 50%. Yehaaa.
Now for the topic. When the train dance started it was only people (kids mostly) from the stands. Now everyone is out there and just walking in a circle. Tonight wasn't too bad/ But some games the teams have to wait to get on the court. We are fortunate for not getting delay of game. I realize the kids probably love it. SO Okay lets do something different with a little more control.

And whats up with the caribean "Day-o" playing for Susanna? My husband who came to his first game last night said..."Maybe they think it is dago?" Ok so hubby isn't politically correct :wink: :
but we really could use some new musical highlights to inject a fresh energy!

and while we're at it ;) ........can we put a big red X next to the name of anyone who butchers the National Anthem? I want to crawl under my seat out of embarrassment for some of them. Who's the person with the tin ear previewing these people and giving them the thumbs up?

I want to add my two cents worth. I have a few several pet peeves with the dance team.

1. They dominate the "dental dental smile cam" - if you are not a baby in their arms, forget your smile. I don't say this because I want to be on the big screen, heaven forbid :oops: (those of you who have met me understand why). But I bring kids and they never get on and they have great smiles.

2. They can't throw t-shirts or other stuff past row five. And the guns they use to get them into the rows further back are fired from center court, so guess where most go - row 5.

3. Not really a pet peeve, but an observation. They should never allow the tall blond white girl to wear a platinum wig and Mercury uniform again. I wasn't sure what it was.

4. They seem to have a fan club that comes to a few games (something I like because it puts B--ts in the seats - I hope they pay for them). But guess where those seats are: You guessed it, Row 5. 7,000 fans versus 10 dance club fans getting 2 or 3 of the dozen t-shirts they throw... well you do the math.
