If you ever saw a movie called "Drop Dead Gorgeous" with Kirsten Dunst, Denise Richards, Allison Janney, Ellen Barkin & Brittany Murphy, you'll know why "Amber" goes with "Minnesota".
Amber Jacobs doesn't get much press, but she's becoming a force off the bench for the Lynx. She was a major contributor last night in their comeback, and figured prominently in The Comeback From Hell win over the Merc a week back.

After Brittany Murphy spills the beans that her parents only had her so she could donate a kidney to her brother. she let's it drop she met Greg Lougainis at one of her brother's parties, and finally, when she's had enough of her not-too-bright father: "He's gay, Dad." Then, as he looks like it's dawning on him, she screams "GAY!" and storms off!

Denise Richards dancing with Jesus...that was hysterical.
A friend of mine who was Miss Teen Alaska said that the dancing sequence was typical of Alaska beauty pageants. |

Oh, yes, I'd nearly forgotten that, Cam! Who was that guy who won Miss Teen Alaska, anyway? :)
Trivia - the woman who does the promotion for St. Paul Pork Products played Jerry Lundegaard's (William H. Macy) wife in "Fargo".
I loved the "swan ate my baby" thing, too. I don't normally like Kirstie Alley too much but she was funny in that.
As was Ellen "Beer Can" Barkin, and Janney did her part to remind me of my trailer-trash roots.
