Hopefully someone can help me with this one... I'm hoping to send a good luck fax to Vealy through the Merc office, but I can't find an appropriate fax number anywhere.

Anyone know what it is?

Dunkin Dan (aka luuuc, right?):

The fax number for the Mercury is: 602-514-8303.

Also you may try e-mailing the team...details might be at their homepage.

Or you could e-mail it to me, and I will give it directly to her, or via Simon.

Depending on the timing of course...they leave or may have left for Houston for Friday's game. They play here Sunday.

It is now 9:15pm Thursday here...2:15pm Friday there, right?

Thanks mb (btw I'm on the west coast, so subtract 2 hours and you're correct)

I've never had much luck with emailing players before, plus a fax seems more personal I reckon.

I think I'm probably too late to catch her before the Houston game - I only had the thought yesterday & couldn't find a fax number using the website or whitepages.com

Oh, and yeah I'm a.k.a. Luuuc (that was my original nickname on the ESPN board back when Longley was actually a decent player) (stop laughing - he was semi-respectable at one point, I'm sure of it!)

ROFLMAO!!!

Andrew Gaze can take Jordan too, right? You Aussies crack me up.

Lozza and Vealy will prove to be all that, however.

On the Mercury site, click "inside the Mercury" for phone numbers, etc.

When you coming back? Would like to get Keegan here...certain it would prove interesting and entertaining.

You in Perth, mate?

Son of a... why didn't I try that "Inside the Mercury" link before..
Oh well, got the fax off anyway.

Yeah I'm from Perth, which is why it says "Perth, Western Australia" near my name & portrait over there
<----
:)

Luc & Tully are the 2 best basketball talents to come out of Perth, so I will support them both to the death! I think Luc is the only Aussie to ever start in the NBA too, and certainly the only one to ever appear on an all-star ballot. Remember, the standards are very different in the "big white stiff" genre of players ;)

I am definitely going to get back there soon as I can. I actually had the opportunity as part of an upcoming job to get a virtually free flight, but the project got delayed so late that I'd have missed the WNBA season, so I decided to save the money for next time. (Not gonna come just for the Cardinals that's for sure)
Definitely gonna try to make it over again though, as soon as the timing & finances are right for me & my better half. Just make sure you keep at least one Aussie in the team

As for Keegan, forget a visit, I expect it's only a matter of time before he's a permanent resident!

Md, you met luuuc/dunkin' dan at league in Janurary, the mate from downunder that we all had drinks with after the Suns game, you were there, weren't you?
Luuuc, MB is the one who resembles a happy (american) buddha;) and MB, I say that in the nicest way!

Don't worry - I remember mb!

And he remembers me - that's why he asked if I was coming back (well, I assume that's why it was worded that way)

Oh.. sorry.. I get it.. you just wanted an excuse to get that happy buddha remark in!

Luc Longley was on the All Star ballot? Yeech must've been a slow year for centres (then again besides Shaq, there's a lack of quality young centres nowadays and even Shaq is getting old now).

And moving to the US wouldn't be a bad idea... though I would only live on the West Coast :) I plan to spread of the gospel of the platypuses and become a women's basketball journalist on the side.

Yes, I remember meeting luuuc/Dunkin Dan...I didn't have that many Southern Comfort & 7-Ups.

Also recalled he was from Perth, yet was to tired to realize it stated so in his profile.

Haven't checked yet...was mb's VGM score good enough to pass Caune???

Budda? Heck, If I don't watch it I'll be a sumu wrestler. :o :o :o
