Don't know if anyone else saw this, but the tv station that holds rights to the World Cup broadcasts in Italy is considering suing FIFA (the world soccer governing body) for damages, because of all the money they're going to lose with the Italians getting eliminated from the tournament in round 2, which in their opinion was solely due to biased refereeing (never mind that Italian strikers missed about five open nets during the game).
I don't know whether to cry or fall over laughing... |

You also have heard of course that the Korean who scored the winning goal in that match has been sacked by his (Italian) club.
Talk about bad losers!!! LOL
By the way, while I'm OT, I just wanted to send my thoughts to anyone who is affected by those rather nasty bushfires that I've been hearing about in AZ, though from what I gather there aren't too many populated areas affected.
Which brings me to another point... what the heck are those trees & plants thinking??!! Arizona? Come on. Is there no space left in Oregon or something? Talk about getting a raw deal from mother nature. |

You need to come to Arizona. Or maybe you should have come to Arizona because it is slowing burning away. One of our best kept secrets is our beautiful state. To many people are moving here as it is. Who do you think is maintaining that "awful desert" image anyway. :P |
