I think it's going to take a lot of ballot stuffing to get our girls into the mix :?

Swoopes, Holdsclaw lead WNBA All-Star voting
June 18, 2002
NEW YORK (AP) -- Sheryl Swoopes of the Houston Comets and Chamique Holdsclaw of the Washington Mystics lead Western and Eastern Conference balloting, released Tuesday, for the WNBA All-Star game.
Swoopes, averaging 15.6 points and 4.3 assists, leads all players with 23,561 votes. Holdsclaw, the league's leading scorer at 21 points per game and 11.4 rebounds, has 21,074 votes.
Other Western Conference voting leaders are Houston's Tina Thompson (15,749), Los Angeles' Lisa Leslie (18,572), Seattle rookie Sue Bird (18,421) and Sacramento's Ticha Penicheiro (10,681).
In the East, the other leaders are Indiana's Tamika Catchings (15,300), New York teammates Tari Phillips (14,864) and Teresa Weatherspoon (16,790), and Charlotte's Dawn Staley (12,403).
Voting continues through June 30. The All-Star game will take place July 15 in Washington. |

Dumping your cookies always works (ooh that's really sound bad). I have been personally voting like a crazy person for all our girls ('cept Ms Thing of course) and especially Maria. I just thought it would be hysterical if the pregnant, haven't played in a game center got more votes than "elbows."
