| I am also a huge Raiders fan. I hear rumors, and have verified them in the press that Al Davis is a big women's basketball fan. As an owner who has excelled in hiring women and minorities to front office and coaching jobs, he is also fascinated by the WNBA. Further rumor is that Al is presently in negotiation to open a WNBA franchise in Oakland. I know Mr. Davis has a bad habit of litigating against the NFL, but he would be a damn good owner. I think he'd insist on women in all the coaching positions. Community relations are not his strong point either, but it would be a hell of a team. He willingly take on hard cases like Brandy Reed and give them another chance to step up too. |
