Nice stats to tell anyone who says the WNBA has attendance issues

Actually, it took the NBA 28 years to eclipse a fan base of 9,000 per game for the first time. That was in 1974-75 when the average NBA attendance was 9,339. By contrast, the WNBA has averaged more than 9,000 fans per game since its inception. The average last year, in its sixth season, was 9,228 fans per game. The NBA average in its seventh year (in 1952-53) was 3,210

| It's a silly campaign. Men complain about the game and the highlights of the game is what should be marketed to them..........and NOT LL's wimpy dunk either cause that only makes them laugh |
