Well either way she's done for this season, since an active player put on the suspended list can't be reactivated. The question is, what will they do with her after this season? Any predictions on that from the Lin Dunn bobblehead, Keeg? :)

......and helloooooooo Vealy! :D

Seth has redeemed himself with me big time. I take back most of the things I've said about him. I no longer feel a need to tackle him and slap him silly next time he comes scurrying up my aisle ;)

I can't pick up anything coherent from the bobblehead atm. I think it's getting pumped for the Sparks game. The platypuses tell me though they keep on getting images of Lisa's hair being ripped off again.

Wow, 4 days past my over/under date of June 14......though it was against Seattle on June 14 that caused her demise so maybe this bet was a push afterall. Anyone have the over?

(Note to self......have Timmsy come up with celebratory drink concoction made with Brandy) 8)

First of all Kudos to Seth for ending this distraction, but I have to wonder if there was a better possible result, If Coop would have agreed/complied...

If a player is not playing like a starter, why not bench them for disciplinary reasons and bring them in as a reserve or sit-them out a game for disciplinary reasons? Let Lisa start a game or two and Brandy be a reserve, Brandy certainly hadn't earned a starting spot. Then if her attitude/performance didn't improve you suspend her for the rest of the year.

If there was any way to make Brandy a productive (happy is probably too much to ask for) member of the Mercury that would have been nice and I'm not sure we exhausted all options to try and get there. So :( :( for not trying hard enough.

That being said, hopefully we can all put this behind us an continue to improve over last year! :) :D :)

Interestingly Brandy is getting votes in all-star balloting. Of course she is dead last in Forwards and has 10 less votes than Step (different position, but still interesting)

Here is a link to the all-star balloting:

Guacho Don.... unfortunately with Brandy the benching part had already been tried..... that only caused more grief, especially last year. When you saw her reaction to being benched from a fans perspective you just didn't want her back in. Can't help but think that her starting this year was part of the 'agreement' they made with her to allow her to come back. She believes she's a starter... let her start and prove it (sorta backwards logic) but with Brandy she 'unproved' it - starting didn't help, only hindered.... she got her chance, didn't respond the right way.... gone

yes, now it actually got mentioned on Jim Rome's show and helped raise the awareness on www.phxsuns.net...here's a little excerpt...

Dan H - 06:13pm Jun 19, 2002 MST
"We got a royal ass-whipping out there. I really have nothing to say, no questions to answer, except happy Mother's Day to all you mothers out there." The Zen Master, Phil Jackson - May 10, 2000, Phoenix 117, LA 98

http://www.arizonarepublic.com/sports/articles/0619boivin0619.html

If you don't believe Reed had plunged into a scary emotional abyss, know this: She laid into Suns coach Frank Johnson in the America West Arena locker room last week - throwing around the "Don't you know who I am?" nonsense - after she was politely asked to leave so the Suns could go about their business. Johnson, as you might expect, took the high road and didn't engage in an argument, but it was a telling moment about Reed's state of mind.

Hehe. Jim Rome had a classic take on this today.

Finally, the WNBA has made it into the bigtime. It is now a legit professional sport.

Personally, taking this into account, I despise her even more!!
