I want to add my congratulations. Some of us have known for some time now that this site is the best for Mercury discussions. I am glad that others are coming on board as well.

As one who, at times, has hit "post" on a rather long diatribe I would also like to add my welcome to others coming on board. I love a good debate.

MB, my biggest annoyance with VT's lengthy posts were that they usually started a new subject. If he could have started with a few quick lines about his topic and then follow with a lengthy reply it would have been easier.

gia - if you have a connection with the Mercury website personnel, I have a request. Several of the other WNBA teams (the Suns too!) have wall paper that can be downloaded with team pictures, etc. What would it take for the Mercury site to provide a Mercury wallpaper??

skewll - what about you? Do do have what you need to put something together?? Or is there something out there already I don't know about?

Consider the wallpaper request passed on SF48.

In the meantime, I'm SURE skew could create some great looking stuff and I'd be more than happy to make them downloadable on gotnext :)

SF48, are you looking for a particular player? I have some of Kayte and some Jenn ones I did little while back. I was going to do a Adrain wall(s)also. Ill link below a couple of Kayte walls I made. Let me know what you are interested in. Main thing I need is good quality pics of a player(I don't have any team pics just ones I've found) --background a quality pic isn't needed as much(I used my vidcaps on these below). Email me/let me know. :D

I actually think I misspoke myself (is that possible?).

I said wallpaper, but what I really meant was screen saver. The Suns have a great one with pictures of all the players and video highlights. I work in an office with all men and I try to give them a steady dose of the Mercury to keep them sports mindedly (is that a word?) honest.

So far we've had about 5 new users signup (none have posted yet) but once the season gets nearer to starting I think we're going to get lots of them.
