Okay, so for me, the most disappointing thing about this season was not making the playoffs to defend the title. Obviously we didn't have PT or Snell, and Tan was out after the Olympic break...which we had the Olympic break...

What was the most disappointing part for you guys?

The rest of the roster had an entire season to step up and show what they could do. The fact that no one did should raise a red flag about the depth on the team. The Merc may have found a future player in Brooke Smith, who still has to find her offense at the pro level but looks like a nice team defender and screener. Other than Pringle, Willingham and Mazzante, is there anyone else on the bench worth bringing back?

Well, this is not what we had hoped for. IT seemed our champions lacked spark a lot fo the season. Reminds me of the Suns last season. I am still proud of the Mercury. They never gave up. Playing under a new coach, losing Penny, Snell and Tangela, we played at a disadvantage. They can take hope taht considering all the adversity it came down to the last week of the season before we lost out on making the playoffs. O believe we will rise again. Go Mercury!

Most disappointing part of the season was being in so many games with 2-3 minutes left and then losing.

Positives (among new faces): Pringle, Willingham and Farris.

Questions: Oga (skilled but not polished) and Quigley who we saw very little of.

Also, loved D's quote which put it all on the players....not putting in the effort as a team etc...as they had the year before.

Looking forward to a great 2009 season. Tickets already renewed.

One Word Describes My Frustration With This Season: CONTINUITY

Our Championship Team was missing this season ...

( 1 ) Shuey
( 2 ) Scott
( 3 ) Taylor
( 4 ) Snelly

These are the ones that come to mind at the moment. The team had 5-6 new players this season plus a new head coach plus the olympic break.

The odds were really against the team for repeating as champions. Yet, despite all the turnover in players etc this team was more than capable of reaching the play-offs which would have been a successful season.

Despite my frustrations with this team and organization this season I feel that AS LONG as the organization don't let key players like Willingham, Brooke and Pringle leave this team they will be set for another championship run.

In regards to Penny Taylor, no one can replace her, however, the organization needs to prepare to go on with-out her and try their best to get another quality consistent scorer because Taurasi and Pondexter can't do it themselves which was evident against a good Detroit team.

Penny Taylor is thinking "family" now and that's fine but the Mercury need to focus on CONTINUITY and that means keeping their key players from this season such as Willingham, Brooke and Pringle. Miller, Mazzante would be nice to see come back next season along with an additonal scorer and acourse Taurasi and Pondexter.

I didn't renew my season tickets this season because the organization had the nerve to raise prices yet put a mediocre product on the court speaking in business terms among other personal reasons.

I am looking forward to the 2009 season because thankfully there won't be no OLYMPIC BREAK and hopefully the organization doesn't screw up and make too many changes.

With this current roster and a healthy roster the Mercury should have a good 4-5 year run.

How much exactly did they raise the price of season tickets?

I'm a very relaxed fan in general, and specifically because I see Phoenix' Championship Window to be ~6 years (which is impressively long by any standard), so what happened this season doesn't really worry me.

The team is on Year 2 of 6, and the team has already won one Title. Again, quite impressive.. Of course, I don't expect the Mercury to now go 4 for 4, but I do see them winning 1, possibly 2 more Titles in 4 years, if everything goes well. How could that not be impressive or exciting? :?: And in the meantime, you get a lot of funny videos and blogs by Diana and Kelly Mazzante.. :P

As much as I wanted the Merc to have another great season, it just wasn't our year. We didnt have PT, which hurt our offense, but I was surprised at how well some players off the bench played. Willingham, Pringle, and Maz had great seasons and Tan had her surgery and will hopefully be back next season. Plus, playing under a new coach takes some adjustment even if he was the assistant coach last year. I'm just hoping and praying that we get PT next season and stay healthy.

The only thing I was disappointed in is that they did not have webcasts for all the away games. The radio link was spotty.

Next year I want webcast for ALL away games. Whatever it takes.

I was not disappointed with the Mercury performance. I know they went out there every single game and played their heart out until the final minute. Even when they lost, they played and certainly kept us entertained.

I liked all the videos except the last one (country music sounds yucky to me) I hope they get rid of that Something about Mercury theme song (Ick!) find us a hot hip tune none of that lame old school honkytonk musak, no wonder it was hard for alot of the crowd to get the energy up sometimes.... lol
