I looked briefly at this, but not really seeing anything special. This place has serious news. Reb's has serious/fun. The Mercury website on wnba has the unwashed masses...... Just not seeing the niche here...
What is special about this place and why should I join? |

Why should you join?
Because the Mercury realized that the fans enjoy these sort of message boards and like to share media files and took action to provide one for us to talk and share things about the Mercury. I joined right away so that they would know that it is much appreciated. |

I'm there too, but I'm still deciding on an avatar... All the photos I have with myself and Mercury players didn't come out well-lit/in focus. Doh.. :!:
With Cafe Merc, I think all the teams nowadays are moving towards following the Chicago Sky's lead to run a team website operated message board. The Atlanta Dream have followed Chicago as well, and both are nice additions and have direct links on the team websites. Players often come in to chat and do Q&As, people in the front office read the threads, etc, etc. I guess it is what you make of it, so why not get in on the ground floor? |
