On February 14, 2008 members of the 2007 WNBA Champion Phoenix Mercury will place Valentine’s Day phone calls to special people around the Valley. Fans can have a Mercury celebrity make a Valentine’s Day phone call on his or her behalf by donating a minimum of $100 to the Score for Kids program. Each Mercury celebrity will deliver 10 Valentine phone calls on a first come, first served basis. Celebrities include Head Coach Corey Gaines, General Manager Ann Meyers Drysdale, Assistant Coach Bridget Pettis and Mercury Guard Kelly Mazzante.
To make a reservation fans should call 602.379.7812 no later than February 11 at 5:00 p.m. All calls will be made on Valentine’s Day. Times will depend on the schedule of the Mercury representative making the call.
