I thought you all might be interested to hear that I saw Paul Westhead before his Sonics team's shootaround here on Friday morning. One of the nicest guys I've ever met, in or out of sports. He walked all the way across the court and greeted me with a warm handshake and a New Years hug.

Some of you may remember from my videos and blog that I got to know both Paul and his wife Cassie a little during the championship run. Seeing him and standing on the main court talking to him brought back the flood of memories from those incredible weeks last fall, I think for both of us.

I, for one, fully supported his decision to return to the NBA. He says he is having a great time with a fun, young (except for Kurt "Dirty" Thomas) team. But rest assured, he has not forgotten the Mercury, their accomplishment nor the fans who cheered them on to the title.

Ah yes, memories...... So did Paul get that new pair of shoes? Or does he still feel lucky to even have a pair of shoes, since he's from Philly :P

And how's Mike DiAntoni these days? I think Doug Collins said last night on TNT that the Suns are the unhappiest 23 and 9 team in the league
