Greetings Phoenicians!
Yes, still smiling :D :D I was thinking back on Game 5 in Detroit, and I remembered something. While we were standing around the players tunnel waiting to see if more players were coming out, a guy came out with a camera (other than our main man StevenK) and we started screaming and hamming it up. Then he said something along the lines of 'Come on, is that all you got? This is for the Championship DVD so let's hear it!' (very loosely quoted and going off memory, which at this point could be considered suspect considering the amount of alcohol needed to get through the playoffs LOL!) I don't know if SuziQ reads here, but maybe she can confirm/prove me crazy. But I swear I remember that. That would be the greatest if they could produce something like that, you know something that highlights the whole season, start to magnificent finish! Have any of you guys heard anything? |

I haven't heard anything. I wonder if is something the league is doing. Don't they have a championship video for all seasons??
It would be a great thing to give the STH's who have waited so long and been there all along. Especially when we really didn't have a season ticket holder party or even a team photo. I think the team photo may be coming in some form...or at least I hope it is. The video would be a great bonus.
Meanwhile, I have copies of each finals win by the Mercury on DVD and I am sure it will provide some good viewing during the off season. |

| Would be nice if the DVD was in HD and all the videos by Steven were put into them too... :idea: |

Why limit the number of fans who can watch it? |

Awww.. thanks :)
But that's not what I mean.
Just about all DVD players will play any region of disc.
I mean how many people these days have a Blu Ray DVD player?
I can't speak for America but I assume it's similar to down here - meaning it's still a small minority at the moment. So anything produced in HD would be unwatchable.
(and would also probably be a waste anyway since I would guess that most of the source material used wouldn't be HD to begin with) |

GA, you are not ready for the old folks home yet! I don't check this forum alot, haven't been checking any of them much lately, but saw your message.
Yes, he did say "Championship DVD" He did indeed.
And you'll get the DVD right about the time I finally get around to downloading all those pictures from Detroit and sending them to you..... :oops: |
