Kayte is doing so many things, it makes me tired to think about them. It also makes all of us old Gauchos very proud of Kayte. The Santa Barbara News-Press has a subscription website, so you probably cannot access the article linked below if not a subscriber. I'll link a portion to give you an idea.

NEWS-PRESS STAFF WRITER Kayte Christensen has some experience performing before crowds numbering in the thousands. That comes from playing for a nationally ranked college women's basketball team and in the WNBA.
But when Christensen stands before a large audience this afternoon at UCSB's Faculty Club Green, her role will be quite different. She has been chosen to speak for the graduating seniors in Arts and Humanities, an area that comprises 32 academic majors, at UCSB's commencement exercises.
It is an assignment she has taken with her usual gusto, even though it's complicated her life as a professional athlete who has been taking a full load of college courses.

Classics professor Apostolos Athanassakis is convinced that Christensen fits "the ideal model" among her peers today. He nominated her to be the commencement speaker after having her in his class during her senior year.
"The thing about Kayte is that she takes care of things," Athanassakis said. "She is very disciplined and responsible in her studies. She has a penetrating intelligence. She doesn't waste time on superficial things. She goes for intellectual thoughts the way she goes for the basket.
"Her humane values stand out above all. She has compassion for people. In her desire to excel, she does not step on people. Those are very classical ideals."

You're doing a great job. It's taking shape and looking good :D
I think the pic on wnba.com of the preseason where she is boxing out Ruth Riley is classic and would be a welcome addition to your front page.
Now if we can only get her more minutes, there would be more pics to choose from :wink: |
