Bridget Pettis, guard for the Indiana Fever, is an outstanding sixth man because of her ability to change the game the second she touches the floor. She comes in with great energy and that energy rubs off on teammates.
She'll get all over her player defensively, harassing the player until she coughs up the ball, giving Pettis the steal and easy transition basket. She may muscle her way in amoungst the big girls in the paint and come away with a key offensive rebound. Or she may knock down a huge 3-point shot giving life to the Fever offense. The Coaching Staff knows that when they insert Pettis in the game, she will make something happen. |
