Ahh, my bad- I started a new one with it because of the info about KV and PT but in hindsight I should have just quoted those parts. Sorry!!!!

I just can't put my finger on the whole Penny Taylor situation. I realize that she is currently in contract negotiations, but is there a date that there aiming to have her back in Phoenix? Will she be ready to play this Saturdaii?? With less than a week left to prepare for Sac-town I doubt that she will play. In any event I was about to start a thread for the upcoming game saturdai, but by following this thread last year I know that there is some type of system for that..... I'm just so excited that the season is about begin and can't wait for the team to make their debut on ABC...........

aditcp, this was a good thread to start put this. The thread for Saturday's game should really be more about the game than whether Penny will be there or not.

Penny's team has a 2-1 lead in a best of five for the Italian championship. They played their 4th game today and if they won, she should be done. If they lost, the last game is scheduled for the 17th.

I think the question about Penny right now is not when she will be here, it is whether she will be here at season end. The way I understand it, she won't be coming at all if she can not finish the season. If they can work that out, I'm hoping she can be here for the home opener on the 25th. AS for her being ready to play or start, it could depend on how much practice time she has but Penny is an extremely smart basketball player with great court sense. If she is here and can play, I wouldn't be surprised if she starts on only a couple days practice.

If I read the first message right (I don't know Italian) but it looks like Penny's team lost 83-81 in overtime and will have a game five on the 17th.
