In the East.......Wash beat NY at Madison Square Garden last night and they meet again tonight in Wash with winner getting home court advantage and what appears will be first place......unless Charlotte makes a big move and beats both in their last two games -
Game to watch: Friday (tonight!) at 7pm on ESPN2
Indiana is battling hard to hold onto the final spot in the East. They should win tonight's game vs Detroit (in spite of what the platypuses predict!) but Orlando and Miami still have shots of stealing their spot.
Game to watch: Miami vs Indiana Sunday @ 6pm MST on Season Pass
In the West, Houston beat LA last night in LA without the services of injured Tina Thompson and moved 1/2 game ahead of the Sparks. It was a huge statement game, especially for Rookie Michele Snow who played LL (fouled out) to a virtual draw.
Tonight's really big game is Portland at Seattle with the winner sealing the 4th playoff spot. Unfortunately this game isn't televised!! &$^#%! Besides Houston, Seattle is the only other team that can do away with LA in the playoffs so GO SEATTLE! |

Seattle is in! The Sparks are going down in the first round!
Would love to see a Seattle vs Indiana finals with the two top ROY candidates.........ya never know!
Catchings should get MVP but you just know that Leslie or Swoopes is going to get it even though Tamika is leading or ina virtual tie with both in just about every category |
