Hey, buddy! As we all saw, she was at the game tonight but DNP.

Can anyone tell me who it was that knocked her on the offensive foul?

Shereka did not play because of the concussion. Her wrist is as good as it has been. She will be available on Sunday.

I was impressed to see Shareka rested today. Too many sports take concussions lightly these days - footballers here in Australia are often seen returning to the same game after a concussion (however small it may be), and it really irks me.

Extreme but valid example - Eric Lindros .... how that man is cleared by NHL league standards to stay in the game is beyond me - when one is told by their personal doctors that 'one more hit to the head' could not only end their career, but also end their life - you'd think they'd hang up the boots.

We have a 'rule' here in Mackay in *most* sports, that if a player suffers a concussion, they are not only not permitted to re-enter the game, but they also have to be checked and cleard by medical staff before their next game - regardless of how soon, or far away that game may be.

Like I said, 'extreme example', so dont get on my back about jumping the gun ... this post was more a rant in general then a rant about Shareka's injury
