Are there any other Russian players in the WNBA (Baranova comes to mind), and do they have to return, as well? |

Svetlana Abrosimova (Lynx) and Natalia Vodopyanova (Storm) are both national team members. I heaven't heard anything about either of them returning at this point.
Seems a strange set of rules they've got going on. |

Russia has enough guards and wings. Stepanova is their only legitimate hope at center. |

With Maria being their only center, it would be important for her to return.
My next question is this, what are the requirements for a country to qualify for the Olympics? Is this tournament needed for Russia to qualify? |
