Don't know about all you other Mercury fans, but I was blissed-out by Diana's performance at the All Star Game. Between her antics w/ Sue's mask, winning the $100 for the midcourt shot and then getting kids in on the competition, photo w/ disabled fan at practice, the microphone catching all her comments, and that a-mazing darn-near half-court shot she made, I thought she was the BEST there. Swoopes mighta gotten the MVP (and deservedly so, IMHO, she's hot again!), but DT was a Star.

Speaking of the mic'd players - would have been nice w/ no commentators, don't you agree? My fantasy has always been to have courtside seats, so I could hear the chatter. That's about as close as I've come - well, maybe the silence at Staples Center in June was nearly as close.

Way to go Diana! We here in Phoenix feel ya done us proud!

She was great, it seemed to me that she was one of the players that actually got it. She had fun, and you could tell she didn't care about getting MVP or anything..to her, the All Star game was for the fans, and to have fun..

Yeah, I love listening to them on the court..anything to shut the commentators off..I remember one game I went to (It was like a Uconn alumni game) a while ago, Rebecca Lobo and Kara Walters were on opposing teams, and guarding each other...it was hysterical. At one point Kara made like she was going to pull down Rebecca's shorts, Lobo just gave her a death stare.. :lol:

She was great! I got to go to the festival on top of the parking garage and she had a shooting contest and gave away some of her new shoes. She was really good with the kids, but the highlight of my day was when I got her autograph in the hotel. Dee is the best !And by the way for that guy who said she gained weight....she was thin and looked great! :wink:
