I have always wondered why the Mercury seems to be the only team in the WNBA that doesn't have their logo painted at mid-court. Does anyone out there have an answer? (I have posted this question several times to "Ask the GM," but I don't think Seth pays any attention to that online feature.)
One more question: Since Timmsy made the transition from color commentator to assistant coach, "Mercury Broadcasting" has all but vanished into thin air. Mercury games on both Audio Season Pass and cable's WNBA Season Pass have been using the opponents feed. This certainly has made listening to and watching games difficult. Does anyone know what's going on???? |

| I have always wondered about the Mercurys logo and center court. This is a discussion every year. I was happy with the circle because it was a step up from leaving the suns logo center court like the first few years. Mabe theyr'e too cheap. Because I know they are not spending the money on advertising. |

The floor they are currently using was unveiled a couple of years ago for the all-star game. The Suns got a new floor and the Mercury were given the old one. Doesn't explain why our logo isn't in the center but it may be a bit of trivia.
Can't really explain the broadcasting thing either. I am able to listen to the local broadcast and don't really have a problem with it. Sorry. |
