Ugly game what I heard on the radio. It seems we need to try and go into Kamilla instead of settling for jumpers which are not falling. The defense isn't bad, but we can't hit the broadside of a barn.

I know are guards aren't great penetrators, but maybe, we should try to work to the inside. In the past we always had the excuse we have no post presence, now we have one and don't seem to know what to do with it.

If Maria shows, great, but we need to focus on the team that's here and get them playing together.

Dee makes those around her better but only when she doesn't have to....it makes sense if you think about it :wink:

I should probably preface my remarks by saying that I see in last night's box score that Kamila shot 1-6 from the floor (nothing to excite us for certain), but I also see that our starting perimeter players took a combined 34 shots from the field. 34-6? Now I'll launch into my tirade...

Even if Maria does show up, I'm having doubts that it would help this team one bit. It's becoming painfully clear that our perimeter players are going to continue to jack up shots whether they're falling at a rate of 5% or 75%. If Kamila is supposedly our answer to inside troubles, why in heaven's sake are we not using her more?! At this point, I don't envision this team would use Maria's inside presence any better.

I'm not too keen on bashing the coach, but I've gotta tell you, it is entirely within her control to put players on the floor who will get the ball inside. If you've got a lady or two who doesn't feel the need to stick to that plan, put her behind on the bench! I can't argue that last year we had a need to let the shooters shoot, but we've addressed that issue this year with KV. So stop taking shots that aren't falling and get her the darn ball already! :x
