MDSPM:
There is a thread titled "Tully Bevilaqua" and you start a new thread to link a story about her activation.
This bodes many questions:
1) why not post it to the existing thread?
2) why even post a link that is simply a press release from the Fever and more than likely can be accessed from their homepage?
You have been politely asked to stick to one thread per topic.
Many have pointed out how your incessant self promotion has an adverse affect. If you want fans to check your site it is unnecessary to beat them over the head with links.
Most of the readers of this forum are quite capable of finding your site, and many other basketball related sites.
What you continue to do borders on a variation of spam.
Alledgedly, much of what your site does borders on plagarism.
Most of those who venture here are fans of the Mercury, and likely the WNBA, and all womens' basketball for that matter.
Most of us are aware of this forum, the ESPN board, the RebKell board, wnba.com, team websites, YOUR website, and the insane platypus site, as well as many others.
Your contribution to spreading the word of the womens game is appreciated. However, it is beyond my comprehension, why you find it necessary to post under various usernames to announce EVERY FREAKING new item added to your website.
Is it not true that MDSPM, atotalsportsfan, and sportspagemike are all the same entity.
Recently, I have been asked to become a moderator of this board. While glad to be able to ward off trolls (not much of a problem here), my hope (if I accept) is to never have to delete a single post or thread.
That said, it will take every ounce of restraint not to remove any post offered by the above listed usernames.
Apparently, on the RebKell board, you offered some humourous hairstyle photos/comments. That is what the board is for...not endless promotion
of another website. Do like keegan...offer commentary and have a tagline.
FOR GOODNESS SAKES, PLEASE, I BEG YOU, STOP POSTING A LINK EVERY TIME A NEW CONTRIBUTION TO YOUR SITE IS ADDED.
Seriously, if sportspage magazine were in printed form, rather than on the net, my overwhelming desire would be to shove a copy right up your arse.
It is doubtful I am alone with that sentiment.
Yes, I have visited your site. Some of the articles were enjoyable. However, every time you post a link, I cringe! It makes me desire to suggest you be banned from this site.
My prayer is that this message gets through. |
