Did anyone attend the PHX PLAYOFF GAME ( #5 ) the other night. I really like how the SUNS and MERCURY are supporting eachother. They ( Suns ) introduced the MERCURY and announced that they were playing this Saturday.
All of the Mercury Players looked very beautiful in their casual clothes. We are not only blessed to have a great team but we are blessed to have beautiful, hard working and passionate WNBA players playing for the valley of the Sun !!! |

| They've been showing Mercury commercials during the Sun games also. If they would do interviews during Sun's halftimes with Diana or other Mercury players, that would go a long way towards getting us some great publicity. |

The Mercury players need to be here in order to do that and that has not been the case recent (except the one game mentioned in this thread). The commericals for the Mercury are played in the arena every half time. Last Tuesday playoff game had a promo for the June 2nd game. $44 for a family of 4 and they get food and stuff.
The Mercury are not being ignored at the Suns games.
Personally, I think we get more publicity when we have the Suns players at our games like last Saturday. I don't know where it was mentioned, but someone suggested that the Mercury use the Suns players for some of their promos. One suggestion was to show Steve Nash after a game and say something like, " Steve, you just made the West Coast Conference finals. What are you going to do next? " Steve's reply: "I'm going to watch Taurasi and Co at a Mercury game." |
