| Well I just read about Penny not being here-man that really stinks! I live in Ohio and am going to Indy May 24 just to see her play and she probably won't even be there! Didn't her Italian team win it last year? She was in training camp last year wasn't she? Are any of you guys going to Indy for the game? |

Penny's Italian team has once again made it to the best of 5 grand finals series.
At the moment they are up 1-0 (Penny had an outstanding game 1 with 29 points, 11 boards & 4 assists), with game 2 to get underway around 11:30am (Phoenix time)
Game 3 is May 19
Game 4 is May 22 (if required)
Game 5 is May 25 (if required)
... so Merc fans need to be keeping their fingers crossed for a sweep :!: |

Good news :)
Looks like Schio has won game 2 of the finals series, meaning that Penny is now just one win away from heading to Phoenix.

A 69-60 victory in game 3, with the ledge hitting 24 of them, and now she's on her way :)

Woo-Hoo!!
Congrats to Penny and the rest of her team!! Penny did a great job in games 1 and 3.
The best part is the fact that she'll be on her way to Phoenix, so she shouldn't miss too much of the season (I would be surprised if she played in the first game...though she did play immediately last year after returning from the land down under).
The glue to the Mercury is now coming back...that's such good news.
BTW...if anyone doesn't know who this is...it's BBallFanCT729 from the other boards...I have had difficulty with my computer, and had to register again. |

| Does anyone know if Penny is with the team now -I hope she is in Indy-they need another score BAD! They already lost to Indy 2x in the pre-season, right!! I'm still hoping!! |

| When I talked to Seth on Friday, he said Penny went home, meaning Australia after her Italian team won. There did not seem to be a solid time table as to when she would join the team. I'm crossing my fingers that she had to run home, grab her toothbrush and will be here sometime this week. |

| So, Penny will probably be playing in the next game or two..GREAT!!..I honestly think the Merc will be a great team this year when Kamila comes back. |
