| I noticed on WNBA.com that NBC will televise a "This Is Who I Am" special this Sunday that features "seven women who are leaving their mark on the game": LL, Swoopes, Cash, Dales-Schuman, Catchings, Holdsclaw, and Bird. Is it mere coincidence that there seems to be a correlation between these seven and the number of times their "This Is Who I Am" spots have been aired??? In this regard, I'm curious to know if anyone has ever seen Lisa's spot on TV. I watch almost every game televised on cable and have never seen it.... |

kr, if you tape the games you'll see it eventually;) I have...finally.
The one I still have not seen is Katie Smiths. That girl gets no respect what so ever from this league! |

| Once again, the league is taking the opportunity to push its "pets" down our throats. If I never saw or read another "human interest" piece on Leslie and Swoopes (and Bird's quickly gaining ground on them), it would be too soon for me. I'm with you caune, it's become apparent that the league has zero respect for Katie Smith. If her play doesn't warrant "star" treatment, then I would argue no one's does. :? |

If you go to the below link and scroll to the bottom you can see Lisa's bit, plus the other 13 - some I haven't seen, like Marciniak's. Some I've seen enough to last 3 lifetimes.

| I wish the WNBA would surprise me with their marketing for once... and in a good way. |
