| I can understand all of you not liking or being annoyed by the WNBA posts. I don't see where there is anything on the website that it is pushing anyone to buy anything. The Website has a lot to offer if you are a sports fan and it promotes the WNBA probably better then any other site other then WNBA.com. |

Yes we are aware of what it provides. We don't need constant reminding and play by play updates of when a font colour is changed on the website and so on.
As far as I'm concerned you've been asked by many users to stop posting on every update to the website, so why persist?
I'll say it again don't you realise that you have probably made more people want to avoid your website by annoying them with posts on every WNBA message board? We know you have a site, if we want to visit it we will, however I assume not many of us from this forum will log on. |

SPM,
It is very likely the highest number of posts made to GotNext would be under my username. Both the RebKell and ESPN boards are also frequented. In the past, I subscribed to Full Court Press and need to renew. Currently, I subscribe to Womens Basketball magazine.
When a friend wrote for sportspagemagazine about the ASU vs UConn game, I read excerpts of the article.
Perhaps I did check your sight once, yet don't intend to ever visit it again, because it seems I am bombarded with links and info about every damn article that is written for it.
For goodness sake, utilize the same thread or something.
It is just like discussing a game...we title a thread "game one", and all the discussion follows in that thread. How idiotic would it be if one thread mentioned the opponent, the next thread mentioned injuries and line-up, the third the half-time score, a fourth gave the final score, a fifth postgame comments, a sixth the box score, and a seventh the next day write ups.
Please take a not so suble hit for goodness sakes!
Good Lord, you started a new thread here to respond to dicussion in another thread. |

Well said, mb.
When SportsPageMike first mentioned the site I went over and checked it out, curious as I am to check out any WBB website.
But when he started with the spamming tactics, that's when I told myself I'd never visit again.
Now I see he has enlisted others to do the spamming as well... well either that or he has created multiple usernames. Whatever, either way it is even more annoying now that so many new threads are being created about the same website.
Nowadays whenever I see the URL for that website my eyes just roll... which is unfortunate for the many non-annoying people who contribute to the site whose work I will never view. |

Someone mentioned that they wanted one post linked to all of Sportspagemagazine.com articles, photos and media releases. So this trend was started and all post regarding the website and the WNBA will be placed under this one post for this message board.
There are over 30 people that volunteer their time for the website nationwide and live in cities where 7 WNBA teams play. I believe that they are entitled to post on message boards if they want to just like any other fan.
Many people on other boards have signatures with links to there websites or webpages also.
As mentioned, no one is forcing anyone to visit the website. If you don't like it then that is fine, don't visit and that is not a problem.
Enjoy your game today against the Fever. I wish them well. |

You're failing to mention/recognise that those people generally contribute to the forums outside of simply posting links to their website. Had you done the same there wouldn't be an issue, however all the users related to your website only post to advertise updates.

I or the website is not here to cause conflict. It is here to provide our information. Hopefully, some of you will enjoy what you see and read about the WNBA on our site throughout the year.
Over the past year, the website has changed. It is not just a Connecticut Sun website. Volunteer staff members are now nationwide and we will provide info not only on the Mercury, but the Sparks, Storm, Lynx, Comets, Liberty and of course the Sun.
All info, regarding the WNBA will be placed on this trend from now on.
Phoenix Mercury info will be placed on this trend also, so we don't offend anyone from now on.
Hope this helps everyone out. As I said, I don't want any problems. I would be happy if one of you fans from Australia wanted to join our staff and include your input or insight.
Sincerely;

*sighs*
Anyone who reads the WNBA.com website simply checks the transactions (maybe even every day, like I do) for what you just posted.
I think what we'd like is relevance, "neatness" in following threads, and something new. Don't rehash what's available in the most mundane of places. We all check the team websites, and the W.com, so it would be helpful for you to post - in your thread started earlier - anything that's NOT somewhere else already. With your contacts around the country, I'm sure you'll be able to give us interesting insights if you really try. |

I was actually hoping that Maria would stick with the team. She would have brought some extra fans into the arena. Jamie Carey is a very good player also and I am sure that the Sun are fortunate to have her. Jenn D. was not going anywhere. That young lady plays great defense and is the quickest player on the team. Again, Maria makes it through another training camp for a pre-season then gets axed at the end when there is not enough time to get situated on another team.
Great try Maria. |

ST. PAUL, MN - Nicole Ohlde (6-5) faced Margo Dydek (7-2) for the tip to get the Minnesota Lynx vs. Connecticut Sun game underway on Saturday. Nearly all of the 5,288 fans in attendance at Williams Arena were on their feet and cheering loudly.

The place to be prior to any women's basketball game on the University of Minnesota campus is a restaurant/bar called Sally's and Saturday was no exception. Starting around 4 p.m., fans slowly started gathering to have a bite to eat before heading over to Williams Arena...

The Detroit Shock have made several announcements lately including the team’s 2005 television schedule features a WNBA-high, promotional giveaways, Swin Cash signing an endorsement deal with with Rock Financial and also holding a dribbling contest...
Some of these may have been mentioned here already other may not have been. I know the Swin one was but I had to include it in our release.
