I've been asked this question enough times that it warrants a public response to those who may read here, but do not post or register for an account because of the request for an email address:
Your email address is ONLY requested by the message board when you register in order for us to confirm your registration. No one ever sees or has access to your email address, nor will it ever be made public.
ALL email sent via the EMAIL button next to your name is sent through our server WITHOUT showing the sender your address.
However for added privacy, once you register and login, you can click the PROFILE link at the top of the page. Then find "Allow Contact via Email:" and click NO next to it - This will set it so that nobody can contact you at all via email. They will only be able to contact you via the message board publically or by private message.
Even if you set this to YES, you only allow someone to send you email through our server with your address hidden. Your email is never ever ever ever displayed to the sender.
So if that's something that's keeping you from throwing your 2 cents at us, worry not. Now back to your regularly scheduled discussion :) |
