| The new Capitals wouldn't do that well at all... no Jacinta Hamilton, no bench! |

There's an interesting thought. Between her 35 minutes for the Caps & 5 for Phoenix, Vealy would actually get quite a good run :P
The second-tier of players over here is not the same standard as the WNBA though. There are a couple of teams whose starters might compete for a while, but if it ever got to the benches (or Perth's starters ;) it would get ugly.
Perhaps WNBL teams of previous years might have had a shot (the Perth team that lost to Vealy's AIS side a few years back was a pretty good lineup, and Sydney & Adelaide used to always be chock full of talent) but these days all the best players (apart from Loz & Vealy) play in Europe.
I think with the current rosters, a WNBL all-star team would compete pretty well in the WNBA, but that's about it. |

... and as for comments, you'd better ask Timmsy, since she'd be the obvious choice to be behind the mic for that game, with Rodney O as MC.
WNBL All-Stars lose to Houston/LA in the semi-finals, but regroup to win the 3rd-4th playoff for the bronze. |
