I got the email, and enjoyed the spot (I'd love to shop in THAT store!).

But I don't understand why they don't market the Merc in comparison to the Suns. Showing their style of play (Nash to Taurasi, DeForge to Marion, Irvin to Stoudamire, for example) would help get more basketball fans (read, men) interested in attending. And with the Suns red-hot right now, some sort of endorsement from the Suns would be incredible.

I'm not against marketing to your core, but as a sales person, I try to get into new markets to expand my base. Why not try to expand the Mercury's base?

I guarantee you if there was an ad w/ the NBA MVP saying he loves the Mercury and their style of play, there's be more tickets sold, and not just to the same type of customer.
