“Tough…but rewarding.” This is how Lauren Jackson described the 2004 championship season for the Seattle Storm. An apt description of the road taken to reach the dizzy heights of a league title. To win a championship, you must face adversity and overcome any obstacle in your path, taking the tough road. That’s what makes winning such a rewarding feeling. Having received the rewards of the tough season just passed, would Seattle be able to build on their success and continue upward? Or will they find the road back to another championship tougher and perhaps less rewarding? Time will tell.
