I read a rumor that if the Mystics tried to trade her she might retire.

If that reason is true, I sure wouldn't blame her for 2 reasons:
1) With Stacy being a married woman, she probably wants to stay where her husband lives.
2) She has one h*ll of a career happening with ESPN. It's taken most people years to get the sports background & rep before they can become commentators.
I congratulate her

The Mystics brought on Pat Summitt for $200,000 in 2002, as a player personnel consultant. The 2002 picks were Stacey Dales-Schuman and Ashja Jones. SDS has retired and Jones was part of a three-way trade.

Three years later, this means the Mystics' 2002 draft class (where the Mystics could have taken Teasley, Snow, Deanna Jackson, Tamika Williams) has yielded...Tamicha Jackson.

I thought 'player personnel consultant' was code for Claw's babysitter.
