| Dee is a half time commentator on ESPN2 airing of the game, about to come up. Sue Bird went out with a broken nose 3 minutes into the game. |

Without Sue, the game was a real edge of your seat nail biter. I luv that kind of game, as long as it turns out the way I want it to.
Kudos to Seattle for putting that one in the bag. They dug real deep to step it up that much. Tonight Seattle, and the rest of the league, learned just how deep their bench is. Some of them, except for Tully, sure surprised me. Now they need the extra time off to recuperate from the extra efforts of playing w/o the Bird. From Sue's being courtside 2nd half, while holding tissue to her nose, I'm assuming she'll brave it out & do whatever it takes to finish the playoffs. She's a tough girl.
Dee was great as commentator as far as demeaner, composure & knowledge. But if she ever takes it pro, she'll have to learn to slow her speech down. Which for her may be difficult. I don't think she does anything slow! |

Mom Carol, I bet there are a few things Diana does slow.
heehee
She did a wonderful job, though! It was soooooo cute when she said to Rebecca Lobo, "YOU'RE PREGNANT?"

I busted out laughing when she said that. She is so clueless sometimes, unless you're talking about basketball. She and Nancy had good rapport when they talked about Sue getting Diana the ball. |
