I saw that ALL the quarter finals are on various channels.

| The NBC Olympic Guide says USA plays Greece at 5 am on the USA channel live. And Russia vs. Czech at 8 am. Do you think this is really correct? They don't say anything about time zones or maybe I selected it a while back and it has been saved. |

This site says Team USA is on at 7:30 am on USA channel at Eastern time. They also say Russia plays at 9:45 am on MSNBC. So this will be 4:30 am our time?

i read the same things on there... both games will be live!
but you might want to check... i've noticed that nbc has been showing stuff on the west coast on delay, while the rest of us get it live. :(
but i'm really looking forward to seeing these games! |

| Justamercfan, the link you showed says that the games for wed. are on Bravo channel, BUT the games ARE ACTUALLY on USA...all this programming is very confusing, there are different times/channels on different sites, I finally emailed my local nbc programming director for a definate answer. USA vs. Greece 7:30am ET on USA. |

There are so many conflicting schedules out there that it's ridiculous :?
Some have Athens time - Some EDT - and the really tricky ones say MDT
(Mtn Daylight Time) -- must pay attn - Arizona is on PDT (Pacific Daylight Time) this time of year.
But... if you set your time zone on home page, it doesn't carry forward to following pages. We must read the fine print!
*All I've truly come up with after scouring all channels of NBC hour by hour by hour again. NO AUSTRALIA 1/4 FINAL GAME on TV using current TV schedules. If anyone finds differently, please.... let me know. I must tape AUS. They're part of the Mercury heritage after all.... |

I taped the USA game but only to watch it during decent hours. I will tape over this game with the next game. This way I will have the gold medal game on tape.
I kept looking all day on the "other" channels for any women's basketball and could find none. The "other" channels are Bravo, CNBC, MSNBC, USA, and Telemundo. MSNBC and Telemundo were both showing the gold medal baseball game when I thought the basketball game was on.
I am looking forward to watching the USA vs Russia matchup. We have the "rights" currently to Korstine and Stepanova. Van mentioned Korstine (#10) in his post game comments about facing the Russians.
And I looking forward the gold medal game against Austrailia. That one should be on TV :) |

| FYI.... the gold medal game is on Saturday morning 9:15 am ET on USA............at least for now that is what they are saying.....God knows it may change by then. |

| I caught the whole Australia/NZ game (at the ungodly hour of 5 am). Trust me, you didn't miss out on much. I think you've all seen LJ score a lot of points before and Tom Maher ranting from the sidelines. |

And what time do you think the games are on here in USA's west? 4am that's what time! Yes we've seen LJ score lots of points. Some, against us, that I wish she hadn't! Tom Maher rant??? Do believe I missed that one. I must admit I've seen a lot of other ranters though. Been one myself on occasion :twisted:
I'll tape the semifinal rounds for you since I'm home weekdays & caune works. I'll tape the medal rounds too cause caune may not find her recorder in all the construction! :roll: |
