AIS will play some collegiate teams, as part of its exhibition tour.

Not sure who else is on the schedule, but more will be known, as universities are just releasing their schedules for the 2004-2005 season. |

ASU played some Australian WNBL teams last year. The Australian Institute of Sport team usually has some great young talent.
Great to see the international competition in the preseason. |

| I hope some of the games are played here in AZ. If not close to home, I'll drive to Tucson, Flagstaff or wherever. Will you guys keep us posted on when & where the Aussie games are |

| This AIS team is nowhere near as strong as past ones. They just got pounded by Virginia Tech in Sydney by 19. |

I have to agree with Keegan--
UCSB just rolled over AIS, Friday night (8/27) by a score of 101-74. The game was played in Wollongong. UCSB shot 58.2% for the game.
The following night in Bomaderry (Shoalhaven Basketball Stadium), UCSB won over AIS by a score of 91-58. UCSB shot 50% for the game.
Something worth noting for UCSB fans, is that this team consists of all returning players (none of last season's seniors were able to make the trip). |
